Oh Ho!

Just remembered! Stopped at the building site yesterday to pick up some papers we needed for the mortgage application. Now there are 37 sites in this little development. Right now, approximately 5 of them have spec houses on them or being built. Approximately 5 more have houses for people on them or being built. They have sold one more house since we chose ours. Our house is a corner lot, #15, backing up to a small green area. Guess where the one other house is? Yep, you got it! #14! Isn't this the equivalent of sitting right next to a stranger in a movie theater when there are only 3 people in the theater? What the heck??? Who does that??? And then.......to top it off, the salesguy tells me she isn't happy that we are going to be putting up a fence!

We choose this particular lot because it is on the edge of the development and backing to the green area. We would only have one neighbor, on our right side, to deal with. We just didn't expect that neighbor to be the next person buying. This is making my eye twitch.....
